America is Conflictual

Image result for conflictual america
American culture is more conflictual especially right around when Trump or any other president is elected. During the election of Trump many people "shut down highways, burned down effigies, and shouted angry slogans"(The New York Time Nov 9 2016). Democrats were outraged when our President was newly elected and caused destruction through out the U.S. which is too much and too violent of a protest for a presidential election which may be too conflictual.

According to Vox's video and many other people the electoral map is unfair with how a smaller state like Massachusetts has more votes than a larger state like Montana which will cause conflict from the states because the votes they put in for the president are as noticed as other even smaller states that has more electoral votes.

This chart above shows the amount and type of people who democrat or republican. For example in the chart it shows how Hispanics are more democratic and independent than they are republican, and how Non-Hispanic White are more Republican than Independent or Democratic. This shows how political differences also show a race and maybe even a religion separation upon the people of the U.S.

People within the country call country more names then it's own, "some call it America. Others call it Middle America. It has also come to be known as Red America, in reference to the maps that were produced on the night of 200 presidential election"(Books 2001). This shows how many people can't call this country just America, but have to have other names for it based on political beliefs and based on political maps which the maps are also based on beliefs. In conclusion many people around the country believe different things and don't agree on various things politically which will cause physical conflict with protests and damage or separation of the country with these differences.
