Last night, July 20 2018, Gaza was attacked hard by the Israeli military with tanks, warplanes and heavy artillery. Apparently it all started when Israeli troops were shot at near the border along with many civilians. These actions have caused 4 people to die and over 150 casualties. The Palestinian people are up in arms as they gather near the Hamas outpost near the border that took most of the Israeli attack.
Hamas is a fundamentalist organization that was created to, at first, liberate Palestine from Israeli corruption. But it has since become something larger, now it seeks to have an Islamic state from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean sea. Hamas aims to control it all.
Since the attack near the border on the Hamas outpost, an Israeli tank has breached the border and was targeting a Hamas military post in Gaza. It is also reported that Hamas declared a ceasefire that Israel agreed too but Israel says they never confirmed this. But now Israel states that is is safe for the Gaza troops to work normally as they would. Also as of now Gaza civilians are to go back to normal routines and daily life.
