I chose the article "Our climate plans are in pieces as killer summer shreds records" due to the mass amounts of Climate change deniers. Climate change is a serious problem with proof, such as this summer for example, as Arctic Sweden, that northern country in the Arctic circle has had forest fires. Many people around the world have past away due to heat waves and raging fires, like those in California and Greece. The Earth's Carbon levels are also the highest they've been in 800,000 years, or the year 797,984 BC. With President Trump's Decision to pull out of the Paris climate accords, although the majority of Americans now believe man made climate change is real, is going to most likely increase those levels , as the U.S. is the world second largest Carbon polluter.
Questions
1.Do you or do you not believe that humans contribute to climate change?
2.Did President Trump make a mistake pulling out of the Paris Agreement?
3.What steps do you believe should be taken to stop the rate of of climate change?
3.What steps do you believe should be taken to stop the rate of of climate change?
I do believe that humans contribute to climate change for many reasons. First of all, the amount of electricity and pollution we use most definitely has a huge impact. The amount of gases being sent into the atmosphere are main reasons for many forest fires and major heat waves. If we continue to emit abundant amounts of gases there will be more catastrophes. The steps we should take is to use less gases and find better ways to create electricity and run machines such as solar.
