Nazi Guard in Trouble Almost 73 Years After WW2.

"This Man Deserves What he Gets"

In Queens a former volunteer Nazi guard who worked in the Trawniki. This man is 95 years old and has been awaiting his justice as neighbors through bricks into his window and threaten him and hate on him for the things he has done in WW2.  He was then deported back to Germany, the coda 14 year old fight to remove Mr. Palij, the former Nazi guard.

He has been identified as a Nazi in 1993 and since then Jewish protesters stood outside his house to protest about him. In 2003 his American citizenship was stripped from him by a federal judge. This was after he was found lying on his naturalization forms by saying he was a laborer in Poland on his fathers old farm and in a German factory during the war. He was ordered to be deported in 2004. But the United States couldn't find a country that will take them.  He was born in a part of Poland that is now part of the Ukraine.

Neighbors watched as the man was wheeled away by immigration officials with his cap covering his eyes and leaving the country for the first time since 1949. "He was nothing more than a man who got out". " He gets what he deserves" (Adam DeFilipo 33 who lives on the block). The final push for Mr.Palij to be deported to Germany was enforced by the Trump Administration. "It's always good to get the final closure no matter how inadequate it may seem"(Peter Black).

Discussion questions:

Is this too much for a 95 year old man?

Were people too harsh on him for what happened a long time ago and considering his age and how he was under the influence of propaganda?

Should they give him the same justice given to other Nazis?
